BALMAIN hype !

I snatched this photo from my fav Blogger Natasha . As you notice B and Rih Rih are both rocking Michael Jackson inspired jackets . I seen both rocking them seperately and on both occassions I thought "FIERCE" . I recently found out that those jackets are in Balmain's Spring 09' Collection . While browsing through the collection I also saw some BADD dresses . I love the jackets but I can't afford nor am I bold enough to rock them . Let's just say if I were to do so I'd be rocking Solange's war paint (seen in last post) along with it . You can see all of Balmain's 08-09 Collections at their website . it's growing on me . . .

Okay so Porche' always jokes about wearing our make-up "Solange" style and I always look at her like she has a third eye (that's often with me and Porche' =]) . Then I wake up and do my rounds on the blogs only to see this picture and I must say . . . it doesn't look that bad . Now don't think you'll catch me in ANY club with a blue stripe across my face . The chances of that happening is slim to none . I'm just saying it doesn't look as crazy and whacko as it did before . It DEF works for Solange . Have A nice weekend =]

I spotted Adrienne Bailon with the two tone ankle boots on and I thought of all the people I would kill for those shoes . Only to find out that it was the latest work from my idol Karl Lagerfield (idol is an understatement when it comes to how I feel about that guy .) I went to the Chanel site and found two other fab two tone look alikes . AHHHHH ! I guess my only hope is to pray Forever21 makes a knock off . . . if so , Can I have all 3 ? Size 10 please =]

Sham Ibrahim is an artist out of LA . While we all looked at Rihanna's police photo in total shock , he saw something else . Mr. Ibrahim claimed he thought the bruises would be interesting to draw . He also wanted to color them his 2 favorite colors (blue and pink) . He says has no paticular reason or hidden message in the drawing .

“There is no message to any of my art,” he says. “It’s meant to look cool hanging on your wall and that’s it! I’m not into deep meanings.”

The painting featured in World Of Wonder Storefront Gallery's new group show "Name that Toon" debuted last night in Hollywood .
